The graphs show the apparent path of the sun for the two solstices (Jun 21 and Dec 22), equinoxes (Mar 20 and Sep 22) and four dates in-between as a function of latitude. The graphs show the location of the sun for different hours during the day (in a 24h clock for local apparent time, i.e. adjusted for the equation of time). See also the applet on modelled extraterrestrial short-wave irradiance as a function of latitude.
